Leah’s story is our story.

In July 2022, 12-year-old Leah was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a rare and aggressive form of childhood brain cancer.

Though DIPG accounts for only 10–20% of pediatric brain tumors, it is one of the most devastating, most often striking children between the ages of 5 and 10, but it can affect anyone—even adults.

Over the course of 17 months, Leah faced radiation, surgery, therapies, and clinical trials with extraordinary courage. In the midst of treatment, she discovered comfort and joy in crafting, eventually launching her own Etsy shop, LIVArtsandCrafts.

On January 6, 2024—just days before her 14th birthday—Leah’s battle came to an end. Her family now carries forward her spirit, creativity, and strength through this nonprofit organization, honoring Leah’s legacy and bringing hope to others.
